I fancy trying putting out a bait hive in my out apiary but don't know how close to my other hives I can place it, I wold like to place it in a perminant position next to another active hive,is this OK??

Hi all, Second post here (after pros & cons for 14x12) and after reading the replies I am going to try it out on 2 of my hives, however costing them from a couple of well known suppliers it sounds quit expensive, so has anyone got any simple plans out there. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, New to this forum and in my 3rd year of beekeeping. I have national hives and I am thinking of altering my brood boxes to 14x12 as I have heard that it may help in the prevention of my biggest concern, swarming. Any advice would be much be appriciated. BC
