It's my normal method of forming the thin lid to the ply , but in being a "toolaholic" was wondering if someone who has a sheet metal folder, has used it for this task.

I've been researching and I may have some hope if this type of burner which I bought with the Gas Vap, has a flame adjuster at the bottom? I've looked at the base of it and hope this is the adjuster as can be seen in the attached photo.

Yes the burner does feel cold when I fill it which I thought was reassuring, but it still gives a pathetic looking flame! And a tes for the fuel, it is Butane to. Frustrating! I'm wondering if it needs a slight clean or service but don't know if this is possible? Thank you for the reply.

I've just started using the pre- coloured discs you glue on the Queen. Give it a few weeks to see how good the adhesive is.

I was thinking of making the DIY QC incubator as per the one shown in The Apiarist when it dawned on me that just a couple of years ago I bought a very good Brinsea poultry egg incubator that regulated humidity as well. Has anyone used such an incubator for bringing on QC's? Olivia9801
