    Two colonies in hives

ok so I fully intend to go down to 3 or 4 hives , as I got a bit carried away this year and I wont be able to cope with this many, whilst doing a full time uni course and also rebuilding a house. I also have a nuc that I would like to sell, this years dark queen, laying well in a 7 frame box...

    Pigs anyone

We had seven landrace x large white recently, they cost around £25 as weaners, and luckily enough we had an agreement that we could have all bruised, damaged and unsold fruit and veg from a local supplier for nothing, which kept the bags of food needed low. When they went to slaughter they all...

How much spare kit do you keep?

I've filled all my spare gear, I bought double what I set my colony limit at and I have already filled everything so that's 10 colonies instead of 5, plus the damn swarm that I accidentally received yesterday.....

    Scam Paypal Email.

:iagree::iagree::iagree: And the fact that the majority of those companies won't email you anyway, so anything to do with accounts, ignore it, block it and delete etc. Don't click on any links either. And never reply as your email address is then flagged up as live.

    Strange one?

Fair enough , it makes sense I suppose, I thought I'd took enough bees with the queen and that the brood break would have helped but oh well.

    Strange one?

I performed an AS on Friday with one of my hives, not a problem the queen was removed and put onto fresh foundation and moved to another apiary because I had run out of room, they have drawn out a couple of frames and she is laying already. The old hive, I left in the same location, with two...

What did you do in the Apiary today?

Performed an AS on one colony, that now takes me up to 11, and I had set a limit to 5 or 6, need to really think about the situation now before it starts running away with me.

    6 frame nuc north lincolnshire

Actually looking at others the price may be a little ambitious so it'll be £125 with your own box Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2

What did you do in the Apiary today?

I know how you feel, I started with 4 colonies this spring and now have 10, this is after setting myself a limit of 5-6. For me its time to start drawing the line and nipping queens to reunite. I have 2 hives who are starting to get swarm fever again and I feel like just letting them get on with...

    Bumble Bees

OK, maybe a slight exaggeration but it has happened, and I would say 90% I've been out to turn out to be bumble bees, even after lengthy discussions on the phone. Its the odd one that starts stressing that you have to remove the bumblebees at the bottom of the garden that's the most annoying.

    Bumble Bees

I've given up going out for swarms after too many people swearing and getting irate because someone has doubted their ability to identify a honey bee Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
