Hello I have a weak hive and thought about moving them down to a nuc. It will mean going from Warm Way to Cold Way when in the nuc, will this change in orientation affect the bees ? Thanks

Basic question I suppose but do I need to clean the varroa board under the mesh floor at every inspection to prevent robbing. Ive had robbing problems and waps and tried lots of methods but realised that obvioulsy they will be attracted to the varroa floor if not kept clean.

How do you spot them? (I take it they dont have black and white stripped shirts and bags that say SWAG). I read that they have legs pointing backwards as they are unloaded but could these be mistaken for bees taking their first trial flights?
