    Urgent Advice Needed

    Hi, just been out to the hive and i noticed my marked queen was walking about on the lawn with around 15 bees with her. I promptly picked her up and put her into the entrance of the hive. Was this the right thing to do? is there a new queen? What could be the cause of this?:eek:

    Just opened up the hive and found 4 queen cells, I only checked the hive 5 days ago and they wasn't there then. I have crushed the cells, was this the right thing to do? I noticed a couple of nights ago that there was a lot of bees around the entrance, do you think they were ready to swarm? .....

    Inspected My hive yesterday, full of bee's, a really strong colony. I've noticed that they are bringing in alot of pollen, they are thick with it. I'm contemplating putting a super on over the weekend, any thoughts? ;)

    I think a good guide price for a 1lb jar is £4.99 up north and £6.99 down south ..... We must also understand that people don't have that little extra in their pockets for special treats like they did 2 years ago, and honey in most cases won't even be on there weekly shopping lists, we ALL need...
