    AFB in North West Cumbria

    Had a call from the Regional Bee Inspector, AFB has been found in NW Cumbria. Unfortunately I am only 5 kms from the outbreak. Having my hive inspected on Monday.:eek: How does AFB spread? Had no contact with any of the infected sites, everything looked OK yesterday, how worried should I be?

    Angry Bees

    Gave my hive an inspection the other day, usually the girls are very calm with just the usual bees coming and going from the hive, on this inspection there were about half a dozen bees outside the hive making lots of noise but not doing anything. Had a look inside everyting appeared as usual...
