There are veils to buy on flea bay, i saw them the other day, about a tenner, might help, but don't know. Suit looks good - can I have one!!:bigear:

You assume I am a relative or a friend.
Could I not be an individual that is non biased?
I know someone who got bees there and they are great, which is why I started to post here.
With regards to my comments re Publish: is it not in our interests to hear if some companies are not...
To all of you pefect beings:
After reading some posts members have chosen to write and continue to write about WPF (not really adding to anything just repeating and repeating boring boring old stuff) why not give this chap a break?
I gather some of you have approached trading standards...
I see these comments about 'poor quality' nucs but surely when you pick them up you have a look?? I don't ever buy any farm animal with out seeing it, is it not a bit nieve? perhaps am I old fashioned!
Oh - now the wife has chipped in - 'buyer beware'!
I can see what folk have been saying about WFP bbut I saw a mates hive of bees today (from WPF) and they were doing really well, very strong colony, masses of eggs, I was very impressed, anyone else had a good experience?
Would like to know where they came from, you need to be sure your queen isn't drone laying. £180 is going on a bit, well unless it's a big colony that you can split, but it doesn't sound big enough.:smash:
When you removed the frames were they capped?
If not then they hadn't finished reducing water content, if it's capped then water content should be fine and it shouldn't ferment. Don't be to eager to remove the frames until absolutely ready. Hope that helps
