    Full Brood box.

    Brood box full of brood and stores Have added another super,and bruised some cappings, al.though I didnt see queen, there were lots of eggs,so looking good. No Queen cells either .Will leave alone now for a week.

    Just checked hive and brood box is very full now, I have a super which is half filled with honey on top of queen excluder, should I put another brood box on top of full one, then QE then replace super or will a that be to much room for them?

    Just checked hive this afternoon and found the entrance to hive stuffed full of bees. they all have thier bums hanging out but are not fanning, just sitting there, my other hive is quite normal?

    What did you do in the Apiary today?

    Just checked my first swarm that I caught that was re hived 2 weeks ago, found queen and lots of brood, happy now, still feeding and all looks well.

    re homing

    I am moving them about ten miles to a friends field then I can bring them back closer to me. Had to move them they were right next to path at ex's garden and very very full so needed to rehome them as well. moved them last night with a view to rehome them today but it hasnt stopped raining yet...

    Got to move my bees tomorrow, no choice. They are in a 5 frame nuc and I have a brood box ready for them, question is do I put bees in new hive where the nuc is now during the day and move them late evening ?or move nuc to new home then re home in brood box the next day? Jez
