    Moving bees in other countries.

Ok so as far as I'm aware, if you move a hive in this country, but watched this week, shipping wars, (USA) and outback truckers (Australia) and both haulage company and bee farmer moved hundreds of hives, and they were all open and bees flying. Does anyone know why they would do this. Sent...

What did you do in the Apiary today?

Pretty sure my oldest queen has gone off lay, I've not seen any BIAS for two week, so today I put a frame full of brand new eggs in the older hive. When will I know if it's worked, time wise? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What did you do in the 'workshop' today

Well after moving them three days at a time, I finally got two out of the three hives into my bee shed. All exiting through a two inch diameter piece of plumbing pipe. All seem happy so far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Leafcutter bee nest at work

I had some last season in a bird box in the garden, they were so aggressive chased me out of the garden and would sting everyone, hate killing bees but had to get rid of them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What did you do in the Apiary today?

Testing methods as I'm still learning, house two cast swarms today, one in a poly nuc and one in a wood nuc, poly nuc feeding with a bag of sugar soaked in water and wood nuc fed with 1:1 syrup. Advice, tips and comments good or bad, welcome. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Bee Houses/Sheds

It's all about modifying your base, I just created a box tunnel built onto mine, through the wall with a sloping roof on the tunnel to deflect the rain. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
