    The dark red could be gorse, mine have yellow and dark red / orange pollen and loads of gorse around here

    Question about feeder

    I use those feeders and it just sits on the crown board over the feeder hole, inside the empty super and they work well.

    Thymovar

    Have been using thymovar for 2 weeks now on all the hives and feeding the hives at the same time. The first few days the bees were not happy, but after an inspection yesterday all queens are still laying and the mite drop is working well. First time I have used it and very happy with it.

    Have not seen that many wasps around up here yet, just one or two. Have traps out and the entrances have been reduced.

    How Much honey did you get this year?

    Uncapped and extracted 170lbs from 8 hives, got another 10 to do in a few days, happy with what I have got this year.
