    Sliver linings

I think the word "applause" would probably be more appropriate, especially in the world of communicative diseases! :ohthedrama:

    Covid-19

I just might be becoming more cynical here but, 200 000 people have come forward, (mostly down south) to join the NHS. Is that truly those who have the skills, ability & training to be productive in this time of crisis? Or are they just desperate for the NHS Badge...

3 Mile rule- how long before returning

It applies at each move! :svengo: JBM is correct, you want all or most of the bees from the original site to be on their last legs before moving the second time. could be 4-6 weeks. I move hives to my dad's back garden 26 miles away! Just because it's secure (and close to work so not a great...

    Covid-19

Our local Pub has stayed open! 2 reasons, you don't want to know why! :banghead:

    Covid-19

Origins, and paths to the existing situation. It's quite possible for BOTH to be true! Given your location, do you work at a similar local facility?? Perhaps very close to a very secure airfield???:svengo:

    Covid-19

That'll keep the mods here busy for a fortnight then!:serenade: So, the government have a plan to put 20 000 troops on the streets? Bet you won't see them parked in the prioritised parking, sneaking in quick panic buying at the supermarkets during their time on duty! :bump:

    Oh My God

    New bee suit anyone?

Doubt that would be an issue for 30% on here :conehead: ;) Looks like they sell plenty of distilling apparatus too, couldn't see any sales for the suit though????????

    NHS 2019 videos

Going slightly off topic here, Our latest new neighbours wear Thorn-proof jackets, green wellies & drive a Range Rover. Does this make them "locally adapted" too?? They seem to think so. If so, why does she worry, (asking on the village what's up page) if the cows are in the fields...

    NHS 2019 videos

Perform better THAN! those who are NOT "locally adapted" i.e. Atlantic Salmon in the desert, Camel in Antarctic, Donald Trump on the streets of Tehran?

    NHS 2019 videos

I would have thought it was obvious that anything "locally adapted" is very likely to perform better than that which has not adapted. :svengo: Of course, if you support the flat earth society...………………… ?:bump:

Adding nut allergy info to your jar labels

All depends on who you upset, seems some professions are more likely to complain than others! I suppose if you were to intentionally add something like wax? (some dodgy characters add empty drawn combe to their honey):sifone: then it should really be listed on the label? Unless of course...

    Let's spread the news

"Up there"? ? ? I might question you geographic knowledge in further depth, if there wasn't the odds on chance of a ban! :leaving:

Didn't Boris lead that one with his mate Mic G?? :serenade:

    Bee stings

You've just described what to many is a completely normal reaction. Swelling & Itching (for up to 3 days) is normal for some of us! Antihistamines help but, (unless you carry a mirror with your tweezers) any sting to the head & shoulders & you're still knackered!:bump:

Adding nut allergy info to your jar labels

We're not in the beginner section are we? ………………. Probably get censored (via someone who didn't study or was bullied at school) ! :iagree: Think it's a left brain / space awareness thing, (similar to map reading)? Would be complete twaddle if we had to. Was expecting this ridiculous...

You could lend him your Oz-Armour and ask for his comparison of the two suits? :winner1st:

What do you want from the forum ?

I was still in fulltime education at that age. not worthy You'd be horrified to see how indiscipline has been almost fostered in that time, apparently Humane Rights has something to do with it. Didn't the Fire Service offer to take over some discipline aspects last year?
