    Refractometer Calibration

    Can anyone confirm if using olive oil is a good enouhg way to calibrate? Spoke to Gary @ gainexpress and he said i have to use dioptric oil. I calibrated it using extra virgin olive oil and the tub of honey i was unsure about read 19 and the honey i was sure about was 17.
