I have become very sensitive to using smoke on my bees. Could anyone suggest any alternative methods or ways to reduce the effects of the smoke? I currently use hemp in my smoker....is there anything else that produces smoke that would be less harmful? I dont like the idea of spraying the bees...

I am downsizing my beekeeping operation as I would like to have more time to look after my fruit trees and plants. Looking to sell several colonies after I take any honey which i hope to do as soon as possible. There might also be some equipment for sale which I will update this thread on...
