What about the entrance? Is it best to remove the entrance block completely and put on a full length mouse guard or put the mouse guard over the entrance block?

    ways to apply fondant blocks?

I have been feeding syrup for the last few weeks. I didnt realise that fondant was fed at this time of the year. Would it be a good idea for me to put a block on my hives instead of the syrup?

    Mouse guards

Not really sure what your reply means. Turn them back again in the spring?

    Mouse guards

Somerford, they are drawing pins, honest. By putting the reducer blocks upside down, does this not prevent the bees clearing out rubbish from the hive?

    Mouse guards

Thanks for that. I will go up in the morning and put the blocks back in then put the mouse guards over the top.

Thanks for the reply somerford. Do you think the way i have done the guards will be okay or should i pop the blocks back in?
