    as far as queen cells, my husband is learning what he can as fast as he can, but this is a totally new, off-the-cuff venture for us. the beekeeper didn't explain anything about queens or queen cells or anything. we don't even know where they are.

    We are in Mexico. A local beekeeper did the hive transfer, and he explained precious little. There is lots of traffic in and out of the old hive, and bees are arriving well covered with pollen. There are lots of fruit trees on our lot, and right now the bees are feeding a lot on fallen pears...
