    Has anybody had the misfortune to take too much honey leaving them short for winter i know people feed feed feed sugar syrup but i like to give them the honey they have worked so hard to store for the winter enought to see them over the cold spell so has people done this and whats the best way...

    when people talk about wet supers do they mean after taking the honey do you store wet or do you mean after letting the bees clean the combs a bit confused

    im on my hols in Perth Western Australia it winter here but the weather is our summer temp 21oc been to a bee farm to see their way of things and i was surprised to tastes all the honey (the Jarrah tree honey is to die for ) (Black butt )is nice as well hoping to bring some back back over hope...

    looking at the comb that the bees make (brace) is it the width that we call the bee space or is drone comb thye bee space this is just observation i know if i measured it i would probably know not worthy

    how many of us nail the bottom bars on super/brood frames or do some nail one end and hindge them to replace foundation. Been thinking that the bees will propolis them to keep them in place also how many nail frames with gimp pins, do you nail each side of side bars and one ontop of top bar...

    after picking up a swarm and they are doing fine im on a single b/b i have my other hives on doubles your thoughts on putting a supa with foundation( 11 frames ) without a q/e knowing they are still on 50% foundation in the b/b would putting it on hinder them just a though not worthy
