i moved 2 hives about 2 months ago and it was 5 miles away left them for exactly 2 weeks and moved them to the new site which was 30 meters north of starting site mostly all was ok but had several hundred bees at each old locations. I put a branch in front of each hive at the new location and...

I think the bee proof suit fencing type hood is crap i used it twice and the mesh practically fell appart so i removed it .I still use the suit with a comercial type veil seems to be ok for me. regards Rob

If you are queenless and you put a frame in with some eggs i think the bees will make a queen cell me thinks but don't hold me to that because bees do what bees do lol.

have a friend that was q_ he has put 1 into a queen cage with some bees a drone tried to get in too and he stopped it lol cheeky said he will hang it inside his hive i told him good luck with it
