    What did you do in the 'workshop' today

    I use an angle grinder with cutting wheel. Place wire in cutting surface (off cut of insulation board is great) then overlay with piece of sheet material to hold still and act as a straight edge cutting guide.

    Orchard planting

    I’d heartily recommend old fashioned green gauge or a clear gauge. What are you planting for wind protection, Alder is, I’m told, a good choice and not too shabby for the bees.

    Hello from the south Cotswolds

    Hi, I’m just finishing my first year as a beek with 1 hive and 1 nuc to over winter. I’m as green as grass but trying hard to assimilate the necessary knowledge! Looking forward to exploring the forum.
