    Randy Oliver OA sponges

With the so called facts that it has it's drawbacks re does not work for some etc etc seems incredible. Randy Oliver seems meticulous in his researching what started in the Argentine, apparently. Would the Argentinians and others a long way from here give us a clue what they have found using the...

    Oxalic Extended Release

I hope you don't mind me asking, do you use the strips in a meticulous way as does Randy Oliver and what ar your findings regards the efficiency of the strips after moonths of use and in particular how does the efficiency of the strips compare with fumigation of oxalic acid at 4 gramm per hive...

Are you saying I'm ignorant. If you are then that wiould confirm absolutely that this and any other forum is nothing short of useless because forums are supposed to be beneficial -aren't they?.

Latest snake-oil varroa treatment pretending not to be a varroa treatment

Dear Dani I don't think I can cope with some of the subscribers on this forum because it is immediately obvious that some who are very abrasive , will not budge when it is proven that certain practices are doing the bees good. It pays to be wary when a few fire warning shots at subscribers on...

A new formulation of oxalic acid for Varroa.

Your reply says a lot about being very wary. It gives a warning that some would think it's not worth a carrot to join these forums in case someone replies like you. I noticed your previous replies see. To other subscribers. The beekeeper is well respected and uses no chemicals his advert...

Please what is the up to date advice on the efficacy of the OMF with catch tray?

The powers that bee gave a chart for counted varroa per day re the infestation by Varroa mites counted on a tray under (of course) a mesh floor. I found that icing sugar did not make any mite or mites drop off any bees that most definitely had varroa on them. When I saw 2 almost dead bees in...

Using Apiguard in very hot weather

Thank you I am hoping that if anything original comes about in this forum will be of benefit. primarily for the bees sake. I have always been in awe of them. If Randy Oliver's additional research which was initially satarted by those doctor, researchers at a uni in Argentina (it's a wonder...

Latest snake-oil varroa treatment pretending not to be a varroa treatment

I am aware of what they do because I took notice of my Aunt who was a school teacher and she knew I had a love of reading. She 'advised' me that reading is the key to knowledge. Nowadays it's the internet but no one should take anything for granted. Please may I ask, can Apibioxal Oxalic acid...

I'm a new beekeeper since 16 July 21.... First I, love your style..... My pal donkey's years ago Portmadoc was about same as me he really was a card but the sharpest salmon fisher I've ever met..... he'd got no time whatsoever with idiocy. It is worrying re the implications then again as I...

Latest snake-oil varroa treatment pretending not to be a varroa treatment

I have read your post with interest. One of the forum readers was kind enough to say there are a few 'posts' discussing the subject of Randy Oliver's experimentation. It surprises me that right at the top of this discussion the heading is labelled 'snake oil' & that is derogatory and suggests...

A new formulation of oxalic acid for Varroa.

It's a good things do change but I do notice that there still is a massive problem with varroa infestations. I am disgusted that I bought a colony 11th June 22 that had towards 1000 mites on 10000 bees ( maybe less bees as they were on 5 shallow Nationals.) I should feel lucky seeing the chap...

A new formulation of oxalic acid for Varroa.

Thank you for the reply. I will have a go at finding said posts because there are only a few in the USA who are breaking the rules to experiment with them most of those are having success as per Randy Oliver's findings. One chap with 200 hives says --- this may be the silver bullet that we have...

A new formulation of oxalic acid for Varroa.

I'd love to see how things have moved on. have there been any experiments of note in regard to the latest Randy Oliver video you tube 8th July 2022? It seems even in the USA 6 folks have 'found the time' to comment on that erudite Biologists findings and even less here in the UK.
