What's flowering as forage in your area

Bees are all over knotweed and ivy (where it started blooming). Some visiting HB judging by the small number of ghost bees in the hives. Interestingly, did not see many going for the HB this year, although plenty around. Oh yeah, and noticed a few dandelions as well...

    DiY homey spinner

I had similar thoughts when started beekeeping 2-3 years ago. In my opinion better to save up money and save yourself the trouble. At the end I bought a Vevor 3 frame electric extractor. Was around £175 in the sales last year. Worth every penny.

    Custom sleeves for comb

Can I ask if the combs are packaged in a foil + the cardboard box on the picture, or is it just the cardboard box?

    Anyone sell frames of honey?

Do you wrap it in cling film or similar before putting in the freezer? Would it cause condensation on the comb. Ne er done this before. Thanks

Does this have a thermostat to adjust the required temperature or that needs to be purchased separately? Thanks

What did you do in the Apiary today?

Hi Garry, I like your version of solar wax melter and thinking of making one myself. May I ask what have you used for the inside bottom, where you place the frames with old wax etc.

With the rolling Demaree, do you replace the frame moved to the top BB with a frame with foundation (in the bottom BB)?

Fermented Honey - feed to bees?

That's right. Checked the super/brood frames stored over the winter. Moisture got in some of the boxes and the frames that had some honey left in smell a bit fermented. Seen bubbles in the honey on one of the frames.
