    Wait and watch is probably the best advice at the moment, if you want to talk bees have you joined a local association. There are a few in Dorset, dependent on exactly where you are. Am in BH10, but know how little I know.

    Thanks for your reply, helps clarify matters. No signs of FB, bees were flying 16th Dec. minimal varroa count. Early Jan,high count,no signs of life. Was late treating for Varroa, lulled by late warm spell and bees still packing in stores.but honey uncapped.smallish quantity of brood being laid...

    Have lost my colony, late treatment for varoa. What can I salvage? and how do I dispose of other? Brood box with capped and uncapped honey, super ditto. Super went on as winter feed after apivar treatment finished.
