    Varroa Mesh

I see exactly the same. Went through 40 colonies on Tuesday with mix of floors (and boxes). All the most advanced ones on solid floors ( top 10) and most of the least advanced on mesh. Makes more of a difference than poly/wood box I think. That said in a few weeks I doubt it will be noticeable...

Equipment Wanted Hain or Sjolis heather Loosener Wanted

From what I have seen the cells are damaged but the bees sort it out in no time. A lot lest destructive than cutting out or or scraping back to mid rib which is the alternative.

Managed Honey Bees compete with Wild Bees for Floral Resources

Honey For Sale Honey for Sale

Honey is worth what the market will pay for it and in bulk £3.50 a lb is around the going rate for standard spring/ summer honey in buckets and barrels. Plenty of commercial beekeepers operate thier business on bulk sales at that price, dealing in large volumes it is not always possible to...

Unusual smell / after taste - any ideas?

Similar shade but it was quite clear. Had bees down on the same site this year and did not get any unusual honey this year, so what ever it was it was not around this year, shame it was nice.
