I currently building some hives so I’m ready for expansion in spring! Looking for advice on sheet metal for the roof, aluminium is cheaper but will it last? Or does anyone know where to buy galvanised steel at a reasonable price?

The wasps are still bothering 1 hive in particular. It’s my fault, I flooded a feeder with syrup in late August and they have never left it alone since. I hope last weeks cold spell would have killed the wasps off. But they are back today in force. I have traps out which have done very well...
