    I carried out a split that produce a good size queen looks like she has been laying for a week or so. There are a quite number of capped drone brood cells with a few capped worker cells and lots of eggs Should I get rid of her or give her another week or so

    Hi all I need advice again. I have a hive that is queenless I found the queen on the floor a few weeks ago, iv checked to see if there is a new queen but no signs. While I'm awaiting the delivery of a new queen how do I stop them producing laying workers.

    Iv just found my marked last years queen dead on the floor outside the hive. Iv not looked in the hive as yet any thoughts on what has happened and should I open the hive or leave it for a while thanks

    Hi all my bees are bringing in lots of pollen, is it worth giving them a light syrup to help them build up brood thank all for your help

    Queen stopped laying

    Just had a quick look at the hives it would seem that the queen in a couple of the hives has stopped laying. There is a handful of capped brood but no fresh eggs and no larvae. I have seen the queen. Is this normal for this time of year
