    No new comb, why

Yep, from a decent supplier. Some frames may of came out from other swarm traps, but all foundation from same supplier and batch. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk

    No new comb, why

Thanks. How would it be counterproductive? Is it due to them drawing more comb just for nectar/pollen in the super and not brood? Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk

    No new comb, why

On year 0, swarm caught at the end of may. Swarm homed in a national standard, single deep. Constant light syrup feed has been given to them. Since they have been in the hive they draw out 5 frames very quickly and stopped drawing. Its been like this for weeks now, no new comb. The 5 frames...

Newly hived swarm, now wasps nest

Closing the entrance has helped. Would servered legs on the inspection board be a symptom of wasp attacks? Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk

Newly hived swarm, now wasps nest

Swarm was caught some 14 days ago. They are still building comb, seen eggs, larvae and capped brood. The swarm is small so venerable. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk

    Have I caught a swarm

Thanks for everyone's replies. I believe what I was seeing were lots of scouts inspecting the trap and space within. All I can say is that I've got a chance with my homemade traps [emoji1696] Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk

I've only put wax foundation frames in there. I'll give it another week and see what happens. Thanks

    Have I caught a swarm

Hi, I'm a complete beginner, was due to start a local bee course but the obvious happened and it's on hold for now. Ive put 5 swarm traps out and recently visited one where there is some activity on 2 consecutive days. My question is, are the bees I'm seeing scouts or has a swarm already...
