Propolis is for sale in a local health food shop. Seeing as my bees seem to love propolis production, can I harvest and use it raw somehow or do I have to do complicated things with it to get all the health benefits? Thanks BS

Really stupid question, but how do you know if there is a flow on? I see the term written a lot and wondered what the signs are. I can see pollen coming in to my new colony, but can't spot nectar. I live in a small town, so it is difficult to tell what they are foraging on. Thanks BS

I have read about supersedure cells being on the face of the frame, and swarm cells at the bottom, and the fact that this is also a massive generalisation. My question is why do they build them these places in particular?
