    Buying a queen

Hello, I would recomend B S Honeybees queens. They cost about £47 including postage, but are well worth the money. When I ordered my queen last year she took about 1 day to arrive.

If you have more than one hive as it sounds? I would shake the bees out and let them combine with one of your other hives.

Sting count already exceeded last years total

Last year ( my first year of beekeeping) I did not get stung even though I have a stb bee suit that has got 5 or more holes in its vail. I think it is because I have got a very good queen, which produces a lot of brood, honey, and calm bees. Sorry to hear of your geting stung.

    queen problem?

I think you need to replace her, with a new young queen I do not like that brood patan and I think she may be falling. You can get queens from BS Honey bees for about £37, I can recomend them having one of ther carniolan queens which is laying with a very good brood patan. I may be rong though...
