How good are they for heather honey? what sort of water pressure do you need? are they worth the price tags £700? Is there a cheaper version...

    Honey left in frames

Hi All I still have 2 supers of honey left in the frames from the start of August and due to work I haven't gotten time to extract it. Would it still be OK to do it and will I have to warm the frames to assist extraction? Is there anything else I should be looking out for? Thanks

Hi all, Just a quick question. Has anyone ever used and UV pen for marking a queen so she can be found easier using a black light or would a black light just react with the other bees? Just wondering this the other day Cheers

    Honey Press

Hi All, Just a quick question do people use a filter bag in a honey press? I have a few frames from last year I didn’t get a chance to extract and they are heather and won’t spin but the press seems to be leaving a lot of honey behind but I’ve put it in a net bag. cheers

    Jarring question

Hi all, I hope everyone is well. Has anyone used (or have any reason why not to) the little plastic valves for homebrewing buckets for jarring honey instead of a honey gate? If you attached a length of hose on to it, it would be easier to jar honey as you could just move the hose (assuming the...
