    Thanks for the answers, it is indeed 2 x NUC's going in to new 14x12 boxes, nobody has any NUC's on 14x12 frames so getting normal frames and will dummy board the 14x12 so its not too big at first. Ill let you know how it goes and thankyou for the advice and ideas :)

    Your not wrong there, in recent years the festival and bestival have become the main attractions on the island, as you said though, so much more to the island :)

    Nice bit of local knowledge, I'm impressed !! I have no idea garlic wise though, I wouldn't have thought it would interfere. I only ask as I grew up on the island and don't particularly remember seeing any hives but there must be some there, plenty of greenery for them :)

    Finally buy a few hives and some bees after wanting to keep bees for 10 years but not being settled enough. Course done, literature read, other beekeepers followed so looking forward to it :)

    That's the fellas, hadn't found them on a UK site and had only seen them in France. I see that Thorne mentions that after a decline in use they are gaining popularity again, good to hear. Thanks for the links
