Thanks for replying to my quandary . What you say makes perfect sense too me . I collected a swarm earlier in the year and that was Qless so I had a bit of a panic , lol

A swarm has arrived into an old hive in my garden . They’ve been there a week and I’ve given them 2 litres of syrup and the have drawn comb and are storing pollen and nectar . I looked last evening and no signs of eggs or brood . Am I being impatient ???
