Too late for a new queen?

Hi everyone, One of my four hives has been queenless for about three weeks now, maybe more. I've moved some frames with new eggs from another hive hoping they are going to make a new queen. Is it too late for this procedure or I can still hope for the best? Thank you. Marco.

    Queenless Hive.

Hi everyone, I'm pretty sure I've got a queenless hive. As suggested in another thread I've moved a frame with eggs from another hive into the queenless one. How long should I wait before having a look? Thank you. Marco.

    Bee Buddy!

Could anyone be my bee buddy for a little while. I've done some training and I've had bees for a year but i'm still not very confident. If you would be so kind to help me, I live in the South East, Seaford and I have a pizza oven in the garden if you fancy a proper Italian pizza. Thank you...

    Swarming already!

Unfortunately I had to leave for a few days and I think one or two of my colonies might have swarmed yesterday. My neighbours have seen lots of bees in their garden and this morning I had a look: I couldn't see the old queen and there were still queen cells in both colonies. I got rid of all...

    Wasps digging!

I found some wasps digging into my Poly Nuk. They can probably smell the water\sugar solution inside and they are literally making little holes to get to it. I have killed some but more have come. Any suggestions? Any idea on a good wasps trap? Thank you.

    Hive checks.

Hi everyone, do you still check your hive regularly in autumn (if the Queen is there and laying, percentage of brood, eggs, larvae etc. etc.) or you just feed them and let them to be? Thank you.

    Queen stopped laying??????

Two days ago I did the icing sugar treatment and today I've noticed that one of the queen is still there but has stopped laying. Not 100% sure but that's the feeling. Do you think I might have put her off? Thank you. Marco.

    Icing sugar treatment.

Hi again, Yesterday I did the icing sugar treatment but I'm not sure if I've used the right icing sugar. I've used the only one they had is Sainsbury's one with tricalcium phosphate. Is it ok or should I use something different and where would I find it? Thank you very much. Marco.

Hello, How should I keep the entrance of my Hives in this season? Should I keep it wide open or should I shorten it? Thank you. Marco.

    Frames in hive.

Hi everyone, I've noticed that in both hives, the queens have laid just in three frames on the left side. Should I move the frames into the middle or let them be? Thank you. Marco.

    Space in Hive.

Hi everyone, I've got a polystyrene Hive and it came with a plastic sheet that I think it is supposed to go between the brood box and the roof. The issue I've got is that when I put it in place, the bees can't walk on top of the frames anymore. Is that a problem? Should they have more space at...
