should i make a small nuce and can i with only one other hive

she is in the yellow travelling cage. Definitely no eggs and there has been no brood for about 3 weeks, so no young bees

queen arrived yesterday put her in the hive as instructed.the hive has not had a queen for over 4 weeks .i have been told old bees will not accept a new queen. what are your thougths

inspected hive with a newly mated queen ,been laying about 10 days but there is lots of cells with 3 or 4 eggs in. the eggs are on the bottom of the cell.is this normal

thanks for the replies. As my hives are in an allotment i am going to reduce the entrance so the bees are less defensive. Making people and hopefully the bees happy

what is best for the bees a large entrance or use a reducer .is it right bees like a smaller entrance
