I'm in the process of putting together the equipment for II next season, but am struggling with the regulators for CO2. Ideally I want something portable as the equipment will be shared with other beekeepers. Does anyone have any recommendations/suggestions as to equipment they use?

Does anyone else have difficulty in getting responses from suppliers? I'm looking to fit an extraction line and getting various companies to give me dimensions is proving far more challenging than I would expect considering there's £30k of potential business for them.

Has there been much response to the breeders group? My suspicion was that there would be too few people actually raising there own queens - maybe that would be the place to start

I’m looking for approximately 100 kg of bulk honey - does anyone have any available?

I now have a number of 6 Frame (DN4) nucs available, with more becoming available over the next few weeks, and am looking for £105 per nuc. I will supply them in a waxed cardboard box, although can supply in a poly nuc if required (for an additional £30).

Has anyone else had any experience of this? It seems pretty unreasonable that this can happen with no reason given or opportunity to discuss what the issue is

I've managed to get hold of a load of celotex with the intention of adding insulation above the crown board. Is there any reason why I can't simply cut the sheets to size and fill a super up on top of each hive? :thanks:

I'm looking to expand the number of hives I keep and was hoping that someone here might be able to suggest some out apiary sites they know of/no longer use? With the relevance to this part of the forum, that once I've secured the sites, I'll be looking to buy the bees to put on them. Anyone?

Just noticed a lot of bees sitting around on the wall by the hive, in little groups of 4-5. They aren't even moving. Any ideas what they're up to?
