    there are a few local species, the ones in the pictures look quite different from what I have. Yes honey from stingless is bit sour and pungent, quite unlike the normal honey bee's which is sweeter.

    unlike the fruits durian flowers are actually very pleasantly fragrant, a bit like jasmine, I am in much anticipation to harvest durian honey after the flowering season which is about now.
