I currently have bumble bees in my roof /soffit. Have also recently twice been asked to remove 'honey bees' from someones roof - both times they were also bumbles.

how can I get them to make swarm cells if they don't want to?

It is a single brood national. I know they supercede cos they want new queen but thought they may build another cell if I had that one. I was just looking at a way to increase hives and am inexperienced as haven't wanted to do so until now.

i just inspected one of my hives yesterday and had exactly the same - multiple eggs in cells on one side of and outside frame. There are loads of bees in hive and BIAS on 7/8 frames. I thought i,d leave a few days and check again.

I have solid floor on one and OMF on other. This is currently closed.
