    can anyone tell me how many stings a bumblebee can survive from? I had a bumblebee accidently land on my open hive yesterday and was immediately attacked by my bees I knocked her to the floor and brushed off the bees stinging her and she flew away - I just wondered if she could survive this?

    Hi Grant, nice to see someone on here who is part of MBKA and knows the area as well, thanks for the advice, being a new beekeeper is a bit like being a first time mum, panic and over worrying about every little thing, I now have four grown up sons so less panic more OMG moments instead lol
