    queen cells in the rain Yes, good idea - don't have a gazebo but will take mating hives into polytunnel anyway for transplanting. Will still have to remove cells from field hive though. Hey Ho! Nothing ventured, nothing gained........

    Transplanting queen cells in the rain!!

    I was planning to remove and transplant some Q cells today (2 days to hatching) but it's bucketing down with rain and forecast is not good. Has anybody done this in adverse conditions? I will wait for a break in the weather or hope tomorrow will be better but that may be cutting it a bit fine...
