    Summer varroa treatments?

    Hemp

    Lime Trees.

    I have just returned from France where in the Perche region saw a lot of Lime trees in flower covered in the local bees. I want to plant some at my home can anyone recommend or have experience as which variety would be the most beneficial to the bees and good for the nectar?? Tar.

    Roof Insulation.

    I have just finished insulating the roofs of the hives. Just wondering, is this something that will make a huge difference to the colony. I have never seen any of the bee stores selling a purpose made roof insulator, anyone seen anything being sold that would fit the bill?

    Condensation problems.

    I was unpacking a product today and I found a teabag style packet of silica gel obviously to stop any moisture.
