    Storing supers for winter

    I store my supers dry in my shed. 2 columns of supers about 6 feet high with 3/4 ply top and bottom. Any spiders I find in the house I alway chuck them in the shed and it always looks like the Adams family house in the spring but I never get any moths ....

    Lol Well I think I remember about most of that. When I had to give it up the Uk was bracing itself for Varroa. Bee craft and the like were full of it for about 3 years previous with all kinds of whacky and wonderful remedies for it including mesh floors (I guess that one is still with us?)...

    Ok I didn't realise that. The WBC outer I owned fitted nicely over the national. Was a bit of a pain but it kept the mrs happy.....:hurray:

    I did this with the single hive I kept in my garden. The hives in my apiary were all national. It just saved me mixing up hive designs and the WBC looked nice in the garden too.
