I am planning to buy some LS frames. Looking at the Modern Beekeeping site, I note that they say some beekeepers prefer not to mix the Modern Beekeeping LS frames with other types of LS frame. Until I read this I thought an LS was an LS, but obviously not! Can anyone enlighten a novice?
Have recentky acquired some poly hives. I know that many advocate masonry paint, but I was wondering whether anyone could suggest a suitable opaque fencing paint to do the job almost as well ,and which could be sprayed on?
Anyone had experiece, good or bad, in extracting from full sized langstroth frames? There is a fair bit of oilseed rape in our area by the way........

What equipment do those members who make their own frames employ? I have just bought some unassembled frames for what i felt was quite a price, when you consider the amount of timber used, though i guess they are quite fiddly to make yourself. Perhaps i am mad to be even considering...
