    Thanks beeno, I opened it a bit more as there were bees with pollen hanging around, they all rushed in and are nice and calm again today, I think I misread the signs, this bee keeping malarkey is so confusing, (but ace) Rosie

    mine seem to be being robbed! lots of dead bees and wrestling out side the hive. have closed the entrance and now have bees hanging round out side carrying pollen! feel really guilty

    It looks like my bees are being robbed, lots of bees around the front of the hive, (the weather has suddenly got a bit warmer) and quite a few dead bees on the ground and a bit of tusseling out side the entrance. could it be robbing at this time of year. am about to put my entrance block back on...

    what does "varroa has violated the brood and bees have drawn out" mean please. I had lots of white bodies thrown out in September but no varroa drop? Thanks Rosie
