Thank you all so much for your input on this subject. After reading through the comments i have checked my cupboard for the required ingredients for the test and came across citric acid. Im going to test today as suggested by the last post by reiner. I will post my results and methods later...

Hi There, I am a candlemaker and sometimes the batches of raw beeswax are quite dark, is it possible to change the colour of the beeswax with boiling in water and filtration? Any ideas gratefully received, thanks, Sam
