    Air freshener unite

    I personally wouldn’t spray air freshener in my hives. Newspaper for me as its been used for years by much more experienced beekeepers than me and whilst the printing ingredients might have changed in recent years it still does the job.

    Hi All, I keep my bees on a solar farm as wifey is not keen on having them in the garden.. I popped down yesterday only to find that the groundsmen had sprayed weedkiller around the fence line and unfortunately over the back of two hives. I think it happened a few days ago as the weeds/ grass...

    Honey jars

    I get mine from Compak South. They are not far from me so I order enough for a couple of seasons and pop down to collect them. I don't get many that are unusable or damaged and the lids seem to be good quality. I beleive they are about £24 for half gross (72). Regards, D

    I bought some yesterday from B&M stores (similar to Poundland) for £0.79 per Kg (Tate & Lyle) if that helps.
