Looks great Ratcatcher. Could not get mine to look at the wireless foundation... so no cut comb for the second year! I even mixed it in with the wired foundation, still no luck. Is it true that the sections are easier to get the bees to work on?

I know it is a no no. I dont do it myself but somebody from our assoc gave me the queen and she was already marked. He actually gave me two queens! I was very grateful for them too! :)
This is my state of play too = Hive 1 = unmated marked q put in on 26th june (today 22 days) no sign of q or eggs. patience.........
hive 2 = mark +mated q put in 7 days ago (in cage). cage now empty - q not seen (yet) no eggs, not really expected yet anyhow. patience..........

oh blinking heck! I missed it. Happened to be miles from a tv and have no way of watching that episode again and blinking iplayer does not play here in Ireland. I wonder if it will be on YT...

Exc stuff Stiffy. Good to hear. I dropped my newly emerged queen into long grass and couldnt find her. Wonder if she managed to climb up hive stand and back into her hive lol !!!!
