    Osr or hedgerow I also left 1 super that wasn't fully capped On the same hive so i total there was 1 and half super boxes but i only removed 1 to be harvested

    Thanks for the the quick reply everyone. I harvested 1 super off a hive and there was 15kg, i use spaces inside my supers so there is only 10 frames. The hawthorn did very well this year. Well done spring honey is the best and most beneficial for us and the bees

    8 year old helper!

    My 5 year old comes and helps me sometimes her new queen is this years red. We use children's gardening gloves that are material and not been stung thru them yet. If you have more them 1 apiary site i would get more them 1 pair of gloves to help stop the spread of nasties
