What did you do in the Apiary today?

Cleaned some dead bees out of the entrance of one hive, nothing needed for the other. Both still alive. Roll on warmer weather.

What did you do in the Apiary today?

I think so yes, the bottom of the pot thing heats up, sublimates the apibioxal and it transfers into the hive, it’s heated by the big battery I had to lump accross the fields again today in the thick fog for round 2. ☹️

What did you do in the Apiary today?

Dank and misty here in Leicestershire today, took a quick peep under the roof of the 2 home hives and double nuc to check on the fondant, all good. Tomorrow the out apiary gets its 2nd Christmas sublimation. Today I’m perusing the online sales. 🙂

What did you do in the 'workshop' today

My workshop looks suspiciously like my dinning room, just having a paint up of some boxes as in my new out apiary they have to not stand out. Any hammering or flaming jobs get done in my other workshop which looks suspiciously like my greenhouse. 😁

What did you do in the Apiary today?

It’s currently 14 degrees here & my 3 home hives are very busy, I’ve observed pollen being taken into all 3 so far. In other news my car is peppered in bee poo. 😅

    Orange pollen in October

Hi, yes…. I treated myself to a little trip to thornes a few months ago to spend some birthday money. Think it was about a fiver. I particularly like it as it overlaps months….

Larva but why not eggs? Nicot and grafting

Thanks for letting me know. I’ll explore other possible options I think before investing in too much equipment.
