    BS Honey Bees New Poly Hive - Best in Class?

    For standard national with no super £108 looks a good price. Could then use wooden supers on in summer. Questions I have would be... Does the poly roof fit on a wooden super ? Looks like it would. There are divider slots in the super but no mention on video or website of longer metal divider...

    What did you do in the Apiary today?

    16 degrees.... roof off fondant on if required roof back on and left them to it. All 12 hives flying well bringing in different coloured pollen.

    Just been to check out apiary hives and all 6 alive and looking good. I have 14x12 hive that has a slab of fondantbon the top of frames. There is mouse droppings on yhe top of the bag and also fondant eaten by them. Whats best action at this time of the year please? I was planning to leave...

    What did you do in the Apiary today?

    The ivy around the garden was alive with honey bees today the 7 home hives were flying like it was mid summer. Loads of pollen going in and the ivy nectar by the smell around the hives.

    Thorne 3rd quality brood boxes and supers...

    Bought national super 3rds last year and with little effort I got 13 supers out of the 15 bought and managed to make a couple of eyes with the leftovers, so not too bad for myself. With 10ltrs of end of line woodsman for £5 and some B&Q own brand filler got a good deal. Will be buying again...

    What's flowering as forage in your area

    Thought the flow was over here until beginning of last week when I spotted a big field of white mustard in full flower that I didn't know was there and its only 200 yards from my hives. Summer honey off and they ard now on their 2nd supers of this late crop.
