Does anyone know of a supplier of Corex nuc boxes that don't have advertising printed on them ? In the past I have used solway bee supplies but it looks like their online shop is no longer trading.

Make a few holes in one side of bag and dunk in a bucket of water until air bubbles stop rising. Place holes above crownboard. If desperate tip dry sugar onto newspaper place on frames. I have used it a couple of times over the years when bees are starving.

I have that one as a backup and it has worked well. I do wonder if it is the orange pellets in the tacwise that makes the plastic brittle.

I have gone through a few tacwise nailers over the years and still have a couple on the shelf. After a while the plastic around the head gets brittle from the shocks and falls apart. Get a cheap Silverline nailer off eBay and a small compresser much more fun to use and a thousand times better...
