    nothing to do with entrance size so long as the entrance is at least bee space they are fine with out adjustment at anytime of year

    i don't really advise waiting in this job if in doubt feed if you ram them up with feed till they are as heavy as lead when you lift with two hands( not one) you wont go far wrong simples

    i agree with the last guy, but i only reply to say that your discription is showing a lack of stores and they both need feeding, next time a quick check on the nuc and try to resist messing too much and feed again if req, if in doubt always feed.

    with regard moving you're hives i would suggest you ask around for a temp site as attempting the three foot at a time move will stress them to destruction.
