Can anyone identify this hive for me? Is it a commercial or national. Its a Hive I had a couple of years ago from an auction, and I cant remember what it is.

There is a new national hive advertised on e bay, but the wood is pine. I know it will need treating with preserver.
I was wondering if there is a down side to having a pine hive?
